Friendship Village of Schaumburg’s investment in a multi-phased dining venue transformation has already received rave reviews. Food Management recognized the community in its inaugural list of the top 25 Senior Dining Power Players. Friendship Village was the only senior living community in Illinois recognized on a list that took into consideration the country’s 150 largest not-for-profit senior living communities as identified by LeadingAge/Ziegler.
The Senior Dining Power Players list offers a “glimpse into how some of the largest entities operate their dining programs and what, if any, changes and enhancements they’ve made.”
Friendship Village’s restaurant, Mosaic, was highlighted for its offering of American and world cuisines, chef’s table and tiled wood-burning oven. The restaurant is adjacent to FORKK, the community’s state-of-the-art teaching kitchen, which offers live and televised cooking classes.
The MDP Team has been working with Morrison Community Living on this exciting dining venue transformation.
