Getting to know Kathy…
Inspired design means creating a beautiful, functioning product that gives pleasure to the people who live in these spaces. I love my window focused work and hope it helps people feel good in their surroundings. Window treatments add a layer of beauty; they soften large spaces and provide a level of detail that elevates the overall aesthetic. They also serve a purpose—sun and heat control as well as supporting a sense of privacy.
Pinterest provides me with a great source of inspiration. There is so much to look at—ideas, colors, and trends. I spend a lot of time exploring Pinterest boards and appreciate having an endless source of new ideas right at my fingertips.
Outside of work, I continue to express my creativity through hobbies such as knitting and crocheting. I love playing with colors and textures. This applies to my passion for the art of cooking too. I enjoy mixing flavors together to make a wonderful meal. I never use a recipe; I just work with what is in the fridge and spice cabinet.
