Summary
In response to market demands and to reinforce their commitment to providing exceptional resident amenities, Meadow Ridge enlisted MDP to refresh the campus dining experience. The existing layout offered a dated dining room configuration that lacked the style and intimacy of modern venues. The expansive space with peaked ceilings and eight fireplaces challenged the team to redefine the floor plan to introduce an inviting pub area and restaurant-style dining.

Inspired Design
The existing architecture inspired the plan reconfiguration and interior details. The design concept explores scale and intimacy, using dropped ceilings, screening elements, and light fixtures to decrease the volume of the space. Planning strategies minimize the number of fireplaces to create focal walls within the dining destinations. Furthermore, a refined palette with textural layers, sophisticated patterns, and warm woods and metals rebrands the Meadow Ridge dining experience.
