The MDP Team is pleased to announce that Environments for Aging (EFA) recognized the dining remodel concept at RiverWalk by RiverSpring Living with a Silver Award in the 2023 Remodel/Renovation competition.

The annual awards program highlights projects that refresh or reinvent existing spaces to help communities remain competitive, attract new residents, and best serve existing residents and staff.

MDP has worked with RiverSpring Living to revitalize the New York campus for the past 22 years. This includes a series of renovations at RiverWalk. Over the years, the dining area, in particular, has received multiple finish updates, and in 2012, the space was widened. MDP’s 2023 concept for the dining venues evokes a luxurious Manhattan hotel lobby feel and NYC bar vibe. The design transforms an existing dining venue into two distinct destinations—Sail, an upscale restaurant, and Hudson Lounge, a multifunctional bar space intended to be the new hub of social activity.
