Summary
For 25 years, the MDP Team has proudly supported the growth of Heath Village, a non-profit, full-service retirement community serving the senior living industry since 1966. The Meadows is a 92,000-sq.ft. expansion project—a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility elevating the community’s health care services. The facility offers 108 long-term and short-term care beds for residents and members of the community-at-large to receive cutting edge skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services.
Inspired Design
Progressive, small household design served as the inspiration for this project. Heath Village wanted to provide state-of-the-art care in a home-like atmosphere. From ample space in resident suites to enticing commons areas and deep connections to nature, every detail was intended to enhance the rehabilitation experience.
Style
The one-story, sprawling farmhouse provides charming details and a welcoming appeal. The interior continues the warm, residential feel with ample windows, art-filled corridors and inviting gathering spaces. Farmhouse and traditional elements are balanced with clean lines and well-appointed details to achieve a comforting sense of home.
Materials
A warm neutral palette is accentuated with inviting textures, delicate patterns and soothing colorful accents. The carefully considered window treatments, upholstered furniture and varied flooring materials achieve an elegant residential décor. An added pop of color in the café and therapy suite punctuate these spaces to encourage energized activity.
